Three Internet kiosks in Kaplan's DC center provided a simple, affordable solution that satisfied students' needs. At Kaplan, we continually look toward innovation to ensure that our students have access to the best technologies and tools available to help them achieve their education goals. The Internet is an important part of that vision, as evidenced by our Web site, Kaptest.com. Last year, we decided that direct Web access within our testing centers was key, as we sought ways to make the Internet a more integral part of our students' on-site experience. In addition to utilizing the Web for the 15 individual online communities that Kaplan offers, many of our students simply wanted to conduct research and communicate with friends and family, particularly our international and traveling students, who rely on e-mail as a cost-effective means of staying in touch.
